My Journey

Growing up in Bend Oregon I was always seeking a new adventure, outdoors or international. My first trip abroad was to Tanzania with my Mother where I was inspired to study global diversity, culture, and international development. I focused this into a degree around Nutritional Anthropology ~ exploring the way people relate to their environment, food, and health.

Upon graduating I moved to Paraguay with the Peace Corps working in Agriculture Development, Health, and Women & Youth Empowerment. It was in South America where I became fluent in Spanish and developed a love for endurance running, yoga, and meditation. Closing out my Peace Corps Service was enlightening, and I realized I was ready to switch career directions and work with people on an individual level. Yoga and Endurance Racing had become such an impactful and positive part of my life and I wanted to find a way to dive deeper.

Upon returning to the states I completed my Yoga Teacher Training and reconnected with the beauty of anatomy, biomechanics and alignment. More specifically how this applies to health, wellness, and an active lifestyle. I shadowed in PT clinics, taught yoga in the US and South America, and discovered the art of Rolfing
™. Both Rolfing™ and Yoga helped me recover from overtraining injuries, keeping my body and mind fit for Adventure Racing and the impacts of regular aging and active life.

I currently reside and practice in Hood River, OR. Rolfing™ has been the perfect compliment to my personal and professional ideals; allowing me to work holistically, exploring research and science, as well as consider the emotional, esoteric, and energetic experiences. I have a knack for blending disciplines and holding a broad perspective, and this work asks just that. This practice requires me to be embodied, and to continue learning and expanding my own felt sense of the work - and I am thrilled to be on this path of ongoing transformation.

In my free time you can find me Adventure Racing, practicing Yoga, trail running, mountain biking, traveling, or brewing up a creative recipe in the kitchen; often accompanied by my dog Ekô.

I've had two sessions with Erin and they were both amazing! I was really impressed how Erin was able to pick up on my trouble spots and knew just the right techniques to relieve any issues I was having.

I woke up and felt great, neck feels liquid smooth and more supple than it's probably ever been! Feet now point straight ahead, you seem to be in the territory of fixing problems I didn't even realize I had. Thorax is loose and breath seems to inflate me like a balloon and not just the chest. WOW WOW WOW!! Your explanations are so good and I will be giving my neck positive encouragement instead of trying to keep it on a tight leash.

Erin’s structural integration sessions gently released 20 years of chronic neck and shoulder pain that no other traditional or integrative modality could. I feel confident that she can support optimal health and well-being.

Erin definitely has a gift for connecting with people and this is a huge asset to her work. I had an ankle problem that has been bothering me for 6 months that she was able to almost completely relieve in the first session. In addition she was able to relieve the tension in my legs that has been causing issues in my stride and I am feeling completely comfortable walking again for the first time in quite a while. In my second session she addressed a shoulder injury that has been bothering me for about 6 years. I left with my shoulder feeling light and loose for the first time since I injured it and as of now, have not experienced any pain in the shoulder. I admit I was a little skeptical going in for my first session but am truly a believer after experiencing Structural Integration. I can highly recommend Erin to anyone who is interested in trying it themselves.
